# Global Merchant Network

A key component of bridging the Web3 and Web2 worlds, as well as opening the global redemption power of Metadomo resides in the “last mile” integration to the Point of Sale (POS) and payment terminals of a network of brick and mortar global merchants. \
\
In addition to accessing a large network of participating global merchants, this last mile integration method of connectivity enables a simple QR code scanning by the merchant’s existing equipment, a seamless experience at the counter for both the consumer and the merchant’s staff.

Metadomo currently has integration access to over 100,000 merchant locations in Asia for numerous brands including Starbucks, Hyatt Hotels, and more.

In the initial stages of Metadomo’s go to market strategy, this is accomplished through strategic partnership with payment and redemption related merchant aggregators.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://metadomo.gitbook.io/metadomo-docs/network/global-merchant-network.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
